A firmware update is carried out via
Settings > System Firmware Update in the
SWAROVSKI OPTIK Outdoor app. If the connection is active, you will receive a message as soon as a new firmware update is available for the AX Visio. The update process takes approximately 10-15 minutes.
Please make sure that your AX Visio and your smartphone have at least 50% battery and that the photos and videos on the AX Visio are transferred to the SWAROVSKI OPTIK Outdoor app. (

Firmware update instructions:
- Start the SWAROVSKI OPTIK Outdoor App and connect the AX Visio.
- You will receive a message if a firmware update is available.
- Go to Settings > System.
- Click on Download Update. (The file for the firmware update is approx. 1 GB in size. Therefore, we recommend downloading the file on a home network with unlimited data). Downloading the file takes approximately 5 minutes depending on the internet quality.
- Once the download is complete, please select Install update and then Start firmware update
- Confirm the WiFi connection.
- The installation process is carried out automatically and takes 10-15 minutes
